John McCain is a racist.
Those words are pretty inflammatory right? Probably pretty offensive to supporters and I would guess McCain would not appreciate it. I am about to show you how if anything, McCain is a racist before Obama is a friend to terrorists. This is after all a man who has used the term gooks.
McCain/Paling ticket has said “Barack Obama pals around with terrorists”, somehow insinuating that he holds the same values or is himself a terrorist…. Any person with a shred of intelligence should be able to see past this horrible claim. Yet the Republicans keep hammering this Bill Ayers shit down our throats and into the minds of some pretty crazy people.
Let’s get the facts straight. Bill Ayers did some pretty jacked up things during a very crazy time in our history. I am sure there are a lot of people (McCain included) who did things during that time they regret. 40 years has passed since Ayers did what he did. He was charged but NEVER convicted. How long do we hold what people did during their youth against them? He has since become a very respected member of the Chicago community and has more years of public service behind him than Sarah Palin.
John McCain is quoted over and over as saying Bill Ayers on 9-11 came out and said he (ayers) had wished he had done more. McCain emphasizes 9-11 as he says this. What McCain doesn’t tell you is that while the quote is correct, it was taken from an article/interview with the New York Times well BEFORE September 11th. The article just happen to to appear on the morning of 9-11. Ayers was referring to his earlier years and was discussing his book. It had nothing to do with 9-11 or any insensitive comments. Read Ayers’ own words clarifying this misleading idea on his blog.
John McCain knows this but continues to let people think Obama is somehow a terrorist sympathizer. He makes it sound as if Ayers came out the moment of the attacks while we are counting our dead and said those things. A lie that couldn’t be further from the truth. YET.. John has no problem letting the uninformed majority build a misguided outrage for a fellow American. A man who has dedicated his life to helping people. People have even begun to threaten Barack’s life over this.
If this is about character and judgment, what does it say about what John McCain has become? Are we seriously supposed to think Barack is a terrorist? Is that REALLY what John is saying? Ridiculous.
And while I hate talking points…. If Ayers is fair game than so is G. Gordon Liddy… A “dear friend” of John McCain. Liddy during the same era as Ayers and his ‘ “terrorism, was part of the Watergate scandal and plotted to kill Americans. Liddy WAS convicted of his crimes and spent time in jail. Yet Liddy is a person John calls friend.
Are we are now holding people responsible for things people they know or have met in life have done? Even though by most accounts what Ayers has done SINCE his days as a radical far exceeds anything he did in the past? Yet Gordon Liddy stills spouts his nonsense.
Now do I think John McCain holds the same ideals or views as Gordon Liddy? No. I look at him and perceive him as an individual based on his own merits. But McCain has gone way overboard with his insinuation and obvious racist undertones. I now perceive him as a racist baiting his followers into possible violence against Obama and it absolutely DISGUSTS me.

That was the first image that came up. Looks like his official Senate photo. Not so dark anymore is he?
Now I can’t say for 100 percent that those images are doctored. I would have to see the originals. I am sure they are out there. Hopefully this has caught the attention of the Obama people and they look into it.
Regardless the intent is there and I would still be willing to bet they were darkened on purpose.
I am OUTRAGED at this crap and so should you. Republican or Democrat, I think we all can agree on at least this. Racism and terrorist links have no place in this election. John McCain should pull these ads immediately and issue an apology! Somehow I doubt it.
You know… I am not surprised that McCain would resort this…. I am just surprised he is so blatant about it.
But I really worry about the down home country bumpkin who hears “pal’s around with terrorists” and thinks it his patriotic duty to teach Barack a lesson. McCain might be one to blame should one of these crazies hurt Obama.
Though I do continue to have hope in the people. I hope come election day we see overwhelming numbers for Obama and the American people pronounce enough is enough. If the polls are to be believed and barring a rigged election we should see a landslide for Obama. There may be racist rednecks coming out to vote against the black man but there should be just as many if not more coming out for Obama because he IS black. A reverse “Bradley effect”? So to close this all out…. DO I really think McCain is a racist? No. I think someone in his campaign made a serious error in judgment with this flier. But McCain is certainly responsible for what his campaign puts out and should pull them right away.
Now do you think Obama pals around with terrorists and is anti-American? I sure hope not. What I do know is both of these men love this country and seem to have good intentions for it’s future. Either man will make a fine president.
I just happen to think Obama will make a better one.
Vote Obama/Biden.
