Well are you?

This is by far the most important election our generation has ever seen.   We as a people need to show up in numbers, break all records, and show our leaders that we have had ENOUGH.

When you step in that booth… please consider voting out every incumbent.   There is no better way for us as Americans can express ourselves than with a voter revolution. It is time to let the politicians know that this is OUR country. It doesn’t belong to corporations or lobbyists. Americans should not be going broke while oil companies are making record profits. Up to 500 % in some cases. Is it patriotic to get rich off the backs of average Americans?

Will the government bail you out if your small business fails or you are forced into bankruptcy by this shitty healthcare system? No they won’t. But they have no problem making you pay to bail out companies that were piss poorly managed.

I am not sure where I came across this idea but I like it. How about out of that 700 billion dollars of our own money, they give 1 million dollars to every legal citizen in this country. There are roughly 300 million people in America. 300 million out of 700 billion is what less than 1 percent? Then let Americans take that money and put it back into the economy. You would have an economic boom. People would pay off their bills, banks wouldn’t go broke on bad loans, government can make sure anyone who owes child support, student loans, etc, will pay it back before receiving a penny. People would invest in the stock market and send their kids to college. Any downside?

So whether you are a Democrat or Republican or Libertarian, or Independent, or any other party, find the incumbent and vote him/her out. It may take crossing lines to do it but like John McCain says… let’s put country first. We can all be a part of a revolution that future generations could be proud of.

13 years ago today OJ Simpson got away with murder.  He now faces 15 years to life.

Karma returns and she has a sense of humor.

The best part is OJ having an ego the size of Texas.   Jail is probably worse than death.   Inmates everywhere await the taste of juice.

My thoughts go out to the Goldman / Brown family.   I am glad they can finally sense some justice.

Ok.. I will admit most of my (all of them) so far have been pretty lopsided.  Keith Olberman is probably the Bill O’Reilly for the left.   With the exception of Keith having some class. I will attack Obama too should something bother me. I am an equal opportunity bitcher…. or is it Bitchee? And I promise I won’t bore you (too much) with my personal life.

MSNBC has been pretty rough on McCain but no where near what CNN put’s him through.    If the Olberman/O’Reilly comparison works, same goes for CNN being the FOX News for the left.  I like to switch back and forth between networks to see how they make the news.

These so called news networks are so blatantly biased it is sick.  And this is where the vast majority of the voting public get their information.  It is pretty obvious.  People repeat talking points and what they heard from a TV ad.  A great microcosm example of this is the  Twitter election channel.   Just watch it for a few minutes.

* I haven’t yet made this disclaimer on this site and before I am labeled a crazy liberal,  I have been a Republican my entire life.  And up until 2004 I had voted for a Republican for office in every election.  I voted down party lines when I didn’t have all the information.   I held some pretty far right views.   And then I grew up.

While I don’t agree with everything the Democrats stand for and I still think my vote for him is the lesser of two evils, I really don’t have much of a choice.   People like Ron Paul (who was shut out) would never get equal coverage.    The Obama/Biden ticket is as close as I will get to having the issues that are important to me addressed.

And when statistics say people of McCain’s age have a 1-5 chance of biting within 4 years, golly gee it sure scares me to think we would have a religious wacko as President.  The same woman who said she would choose life even if her daughter was in that situation.

Pretty friggen scary coming straight from the mouth of a moose.

Speaking of Religious wackos….   Bill Maher’s new movie opened this weekend.   I plan on seeing it soon and will share my opinion here.  I am sure I will have plenty to say.   So you thumpers… git yur ah-bibles ah-ready.  In the words of Penn & Teller.. well in the words of Penn… ” You’re gonna need it because you will think I am making this shit up”.

Oh and one more thing.   This is now my most favorite sound bite.   HEH? HEH? How bout her!?
